The Story
About Pinkerton: Pinkerton is the webcomic created and drawn by Michael Witmer. What's it about? It's about everyday life, hanging with friends, downing a few cold ones, chewing on squirrels, tasering annoying people...you know, everyday stuff. Pinkerton revolves around the fictional Pinkerton National Park and the furry little jerks that reside within.
There's mischief and mayhem in the glens and hollows of Pinkerton, not to mention what goes on in Fern's bar. So pull up a stump: The wild has never been more weird.
Pinkerton debuted on the web in July of 2007. The strip was quickly picked up for web syndication by U-click's GoComics. In the Spring of 2008, Witmer signed on with Th3rd World for a world-dominating publishing deal that promised lavish riches and screaming fans. We're not holding our breath.
About Mike Witmer: Mike was a student of the Pennsylvania School of Art and Design. His first attempt at comic stripping was the web-syndicated 44 Union Avenue. 44UA appeared both online and in a hand full of newspapers across the U.S. The strip went into re-run status in May of 2007 as Witmer began developing what would later become Pinkerton.
Mike lives in Pennsylvania with his wife, daughters, dogs, cats, fish, a possum, and a beligerent lawn gnome who is plotting to kill him.
