UPDATE! ELORA MAKES A PASSIONATE PLEA FOR HAITI

My daughter Elora (the proto Dictator Tot, you'll recall) just turned 7 a few months ago and has decided to skip her childhood and teen years and move right into the college activist phase. Please take a minute to listen to her impassioned call to help in the Haiti relief efforts.

This video comes to us from my mom who filmed it for her blog. I've been asked already if this was something rehearsed or if it was off-the-cuff. Definitely off-the-cuff. Pardon me for being a proud father this once.

ROSSANA BUGINI WOULD BE THE MAN (IF SHE WEREN'T A WOMAN)

Rossana really just knocked this page out of the park. Originally, as scripted, this page and the page previous were all one page. Yeah, I don't know what I was thinking either. Rossana was the one who hit on the idea of breaking it up and I think we can all agree that the story is the better for it. Not the last time she did this either. Just you wait.

JASON SIGLER IS A-WORKIN' HARD ON HIS SUPERFOGEY ORIGIN

You may remember that Digital Strips' Jason Sigler is hard at work on a little story called "Swifty and the Prophecy." Now, this isn't the story that will reveal Swifty's origin (though there are certainly multiple hints), but there it is nonetheless a very important story and need important artwork to go with it.

Like this awesome design of a panda bear with guns:

How does he factor into a story about Swifty?  You'll just have to wait and see.

BIG ANNOUNCEMENTS ARE COMING...JUST NOT TODAY

I'm just sayin'. I'm kind of boiling over with excitement over here. And I can't SAY ANYTHING. But soon.

Soon.

See you on Thursday with SuperFogeys 241!

Can you imagine a police office getting this domestic call in the middle of the night. Pulling up to the house, "what seems to be the problem....oh..... it's you two....I'm just ganna.... go now......"

Neighborhood go BOOOM! Inside out man? Eww....

Oh and WTG Elora! She's not the only 7 year old trying to help. A 7 yr old in the UK raised $240,000 for Haiti relief! http://www.cnn.com/2010/WORLD/europe/01/25/uk.boy.charity.haiti/index.html?section=cnn_latest

You're right Brock, it looks fantastic! She did a really great job.

I'm at work and can't listen to Elora's video as of yet, sorry. :-( I will once I can though! :-)

Thanks for the nice comments on this page, everyone. I love staring at that explosion.

And Baughbe...welcome! Thanks a bunch for giving SF a chance. Hope to see you around from time to time.

Is that Provo? Why were they living in Provo?

Tyler - Provo? Tyler, there's a whole world outside of Utah. Come live in it.

Rossana lives in Italy and my only direction to her about that panel was that it should look like a typical American suburb circa 1961. It's not Provo!
