UPDATE! NOW IN COLOR!

Thanks, Jon!

WHY BLACK AND WHITE?

Unfortunately, the colorist of the Six Wives story, Jon Conkling, threw his back out last week and was not able to get the colors for this page done in time. Here's hoping he feels better and is able to return to us soon. When he does, you can be sure this page will be updated! For now, enjoy this great black and white piece by Rossana Bugini!

MONSTERPLEX STARTS STRONG...THEN FALLS

As most of you know, I have a comic, MONSTERPLEX, in this month's Zuda competition. Last Thursday the rankings were updated with MP in first place, which was fantastic! Thanks to everyone who helped us get there.

Unfortunately, the second place comic rose to the challenge and, as of yesterday, has taken the number one spot from MONSTERPLEX. But...it doesn't have to stay this way.

The SuperFogeys readership is big enough that we can easily take this thing. Without getting too specific, SF probably averages just over 1,000 unique hits a day. If everyone pitched in, joined TEAM MONSTERPLEX, and went over to support us on Zuda, a win would be in the bag!

What's really killing us right now are the "Add to Favorites". The second place comic has way more than MP, even though our traffic numbers are great. If all you can do is vote and "add to favorites"--GREAT!

I know we can take this thing if we all work together. Please, help!

THE MONSTERPLEX BLOG

The Monsterplex blog is a machine! Right now, there are multiple updates every day, including reviews, interview, behind-the-scenes stuff and, best of all, MONSTERPLEX artist David Schlotterback is taking your sketch requests! Head on over to check it out!

See You On Thursday with SuperFogeys 243!

From her freckles im assuming that Michelle is a red-head. Now some of the wedding party I recognize but who's the guy in glasses and the stuffed animal looking thing next to star maiden?

Spy Gal punching Star Maiden with her elbow was nice touch.

Dierna - In my mind she's a strawberry blonde, but pretty much the same idea. As for the guy in the glasses and the stuffed animal...I don't know! Rossana was free to populate the wedding scene with whomever she wanted. Maybe she'll drop by and let us know.

Si Civa - Yeah, that's neat, isn't it? Another fine Rossana touch.

Brock, If there is someway to promote monsterplex higher on the page it might help. Some fans may not be scrolling down enough to find out about the contest

Mr. Walker - That's a really good point. Per your advice, I think I'll imbed the info into Thursday's strip so that it's part of the image. Really, really good tip. Thanks for that!

I feel sorry for Jon. Did he throw out his back, by chance on...February 2? Someone else threw out her back on that day, according to the Official LOST Podcast. Must be an omen...

Looks great and the story is interesting me even more than the last several pages! Hope Jon is feeling much better soon. Beautiful black and white line art, though!
