TL COLLINS

Y'all might be getting sick of me saying it, but TL just keeps knocking it out of the park over and over again and this page is no exception.  I've got to find a way to script in a challenge for him!

THE SUPERFOGEYS ON WEBCOMIC TV!

Big thanks to Christopher Schultz for making the SuperFogeys a part of of the weekly rotation on Webcomic TV.  Chris takes the new and noteworthy in the world of webcomics and treats them as actual events to be reported on.  It's a ton of fun gives Chris a chance to put his own humorous spin on things.  Be sure and hit this link to see what he's up to and how he works the SuperFogeys in!

SPEAKING OF TV...

I'm always curious as to what people's favorite shows are.  And besides that...what are you watching?  Sometimes, those are two different answers.  My faves include: Mad Men, LOST, Battlestar Galactica, How I Met Your Mother, 30 Rock, The Office and Burn Notice. Those are the shows I make a real point of watching. Since I don't have cable, that sometimes means Hulu or downloading them from iTunes.

Other shows I watch but that I wouldn't really classify as my top faves and that I don't necessarily see every episode of: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Dollhouse, Heroes, Fringe, 24, Chuck and Saturday Night Live.

As you can see, I'm not much for procedurals.  Some of the shows I watch have elements of the procedural in them, but they don't rely on the formulaic for their charm. Of course, there's always the shows I watch in order to spend time with my wife (I think every husband has these--they're the ones that I can stomach when I'm at her side, but I'd never watch them by myself--or at least I wouldn't get caught): American Idol, Desperate Housewives and Brothers & Sisters (a show which infuriates me the same way Conservative Talk Radio used to...back when I was a masochist).

Luckily, most of these shows aren't all at the same time in any given year.  How about you?  Fess up!

THIS WEEK

Remember that tomorrow I'm showing a second preview page from the bonus story "The Audition" from Collection #4.  Don't worry, I'll also be linking back to the first page from this story that I showed off a month and a half ago.

Then, on Thursday, it's back to the current timeline with episode 199 of SF!  Almost to 200!

Haha, Jerry is even more of a crack up here than he is in "current" strips! I love it!

haha! jerry harness=awesome(with bonus points for the bug shield) Mr. collins does just seem to be getting better and better!
ps. breaking bad is about the only thing that i both like right now, and that matches up with my scheduale. i keep hearing about this hulu?

The harness MATCHES Captain Spectacular's suit, too. It's like an ACCESSORY.

Poor, naive Jerry... I can just imagine Spy Gal pulling the zipper trick on him... He would get a nosebleed and faint.

jerry...to good for his own good.

On my own I only watch news, comedy central (usually the Daily Show and the Colbert Report), and the occasional history channel documentary. With my wife, I have to watch a lot of things. American Idol, Bret Michaels Tour Bus Rock of Love, Survivor, Judge Judy, Bad Girls, and all of those fake reality clones.

And Jerry is either sitting on a huge pillow, or he has a hue package that contradicts his diminutive demeanor.

haha! jerry doesn't have to be sitting on a pillow, ...it could be a huge DIAPER! (for those long trips, haha!)

Mike J. - Super. Jerry doesn't get a lot of love from people in the current strips. Nice to see his twelve-year-old self is more palatable.

Birddog - Yeah, TL did a great job on the harness. No doubt about that. I've heard good things about Breaking Bad, but the subject matter doesn't do much for me. Maybe I should give it a chance anyway? Check out hulu.com for sure--great way to watch TV in good quality for free.

Laura - Can't you just see the Captain and Jerry action figures packaged with the matching harness? That's merchandising gold!

Tyler D. - Spot on. Poor guy.

Tad - Ouch, man. Your wife is a cruel mistress. I do occasionally catch the Daily Show or Colbert on Hulu. Always a good time. And...pillow. Definitely pillow.

Birddog - Scratch that. Diaper. Definitely diaper.

Well I think its better than ridding on his back.

Thanks guys, I try not to think about Jerry's package when I draw these things.
I watch CSI Vegas and *ugh* Survivor, I like the office and 30 rock a lot when I catch them. I seem to have to listen to a lot of things, cause when you're drawing it's hard to look.

Aunt Harriet?! As in Batman's Aunt Harriet?!

lol, Jerry is such a noob. Can't wait to see him drool over SpyGal... and think some unpure thoughts.

DoctorParadox - Good, good point.

Bullfinch - Not thinking about Jerry's package is probably for the best. I know what you mean about listening to a lot of things. That's how I've been catching Jimmy Fallon.

Dierna - Spot on! Good catch!

Dgriff - You may know where this is heading if you remember Chapter 1...we already know exactly what Jerry was thinking when he met Spy Gal.
