Previously in the SuperFogeys

VOLUME ONE

Chapter 1 - Insane Romance From Hell

Because of the machinations of a mysterious figure known only as the Third Man, Spy Gal has been wrongly interred at Valhalla. Soon, she found herself at the evil mercy of one of Valhalla’s resident villains, Dr. Rocket.    Rescued by the combined efforts of her former comrades Captain Spectacular and Jerry, Spy Gal made the best of her situation by immediately rekindling her romance with the Captain, much to Jerry’s disappointment.

Chapter 2 - Bingo Night

The head of Valhalla, Dr. Klein, invited The Healer to participate in Bingo Night.  The winner of the Bingo game, Captain Spectacular, was treated to a special session with the Healer and is now no longer paralyzed and in need of a wheelchair.  Being a lazy old man, he stuck around and continues to use the wheelchair anyway.

Chapter 3 - The Techno Shuffle

In order to teach the SuperFogeys how to use modern computers, Dr. Klein invited the young criminal mastermind Dictator Tot, current prisoner of the super villain prison Hel, to Valhalla.  Secretly,  the Third Man contracted Dictator Tot help Gene, an orderly at Valhalla, to carry out a sinister plan.  Once Captain Spectacular finally turned on one of the computers, he discovered that someone had set it to reveal the current condition of his ex-wife, Star Maiden, a once-powerful superheroine now advanced in years.  This “chance” happening brought back a flood of memories to the Captain and raised the suspicions of Spy Gal.  Unknown to all, the Third Man and Dr. Klein are actually the same person.

Chapter 4 - Dictator Tot's Revenge

Dr. Klein leaves town to “take care of some business."  On the way to Dictator Tot’s lesson on playing videogames, Spy Gal encounters a crying Jerry and promises to take care of him.  Star Maiden arrives at Valhalla and it is clear to all that she is suffering from some form of dementia. When Dictator Tot loses the video game she was playing with Jerry, she pulls out a gun from a box given to her earlier by the Third Man and shoots Jerry in the chest, thus fulfilling the “Pink Phase” of the Third Man’s plan.  When Jerry’s wounds are diagnosed, it is determined that Dr. Rocket is the only one who can help him. (Dr. Klein would have been able to help, but he was inconveniently out of town, further raising Spy Gal’s suspicions.) Uncharacteristically, Dr. Rockets agrees and operates on the ailing Jerry.  After 3 hours, Dr. Rocket emerges from surgery and announces he has both good news and bad news…

Chapter 5 - The Redemption of Dr. Rocket

Turns out Dr. Rocket was playing a small prank and assures everyone that Jerry is going to be just fine.  He's wrong, and Jerry begins suffering mysterious complications. Dictator Tot is shipped back to prison, but escapes later that night. Spy Gal and Captain Spectacular get engaged.  Dr. Rocket goes on a gift-giving spree and Captain Spectacular asks him to be his best man, much to Jerry's surprise. Spy Gal asks Star Maiden to be hers. The Society of Heroes, the world's premiere super-team, gets word from the Third Man about Dictator Tot's escape and makes plans to go apprehend her. The Society of Heroes catches up with Dictator Tot and Tangerine, their oldest member, nearly kills her in a case of mistaken identity.  Tangerine is kicked off the team and Dr. Klein brings him back to Valhalla as its newest resident.  Tangerine and Captain Spectacular have been good friends since the 70's. When Tangerine spots Dr. Rocket, he flips out and kills him while Captain Spectacular stands idly by...

VOLUME TWO

Chapter 6 - Funeral for a Frenemy

The Fogeys and others gather together for the funeral of Dr. Rocket. Captain Spectacular shares his origin story as a part of the services, explaining that he and Dr. Rocket grew up as friends but were then abducted by an aliens and experimented upon, granting Captain Spectacular his powers and Dr. Rocket his superior intelligence. As everyone is paying their last respects, the visiting Death, M.D. reveals that it was not Dr. Rocket who Tangerine killed. We find out that Dr. Rocket has actually been living in Cuba for many years while a shape-shifter known as Herman impersonated him as part of a deal with Dr. Klein/The Third Man. The truth now revealed, the real Dr. Rocket agrees to come to Valhalla and build a giant robot for a reason known only to the Third Man. In exchange, The Third Man will complete a terrible task for Dr. Rocket.  So terrible that even the villainous Third Man shrinks at the thought of it...

Chapter 7 - Visiting Day

It's Visiting Day as the friends and family of the SuperFogeys (if they have any) come to visit them. (Currently running.)
